RT Snyder Jr has been a cornerstone of Swanson Agency for decades, embodying the Montana roots that define both the firm and the families it serves. A small rancher outside of Choteau, he starts and ends most days milking cows, irrigating, or calving — a rhythm of work that grounds his approach to helping clients.

Over the years, he’s worn many hats — licensed land manager, insurance agent, outfitter, and annual tax preparer — but the throughline has always been steady service and trust.

Each fall, RT “goes on vacation” in the Little Belt Mountains — outfitting on his in-laws’ private holdings and public land, an annual tradition that’s more work than rest. Closer to home, he and his wife are deeply involved in the Choteau and Conrad communities, especially supporting 4-H and local events.
